abosco: Vector Inspection

The term ‘vector inspection’ refers to the graphical recording of defects in production.

At inspection workstations, such as pre- or final inspections, it is possible to record detailed information on defects and their locations in the event of a complaint. The operator can intuitively record the type of defect along with its location.

Recorded defects and their locations are stored in a database table for each vehicle, workstation and component. The data can be processed for reports and analyses.

abosco: Pick-to-Light (PtL)

Pick-to-light is one of the paperless picking methods. By connecting to the JBM, order data can be transferred quickly and securely. In addition to hardware addressing (TCP/IP, RS485), we also handle the control system.

 

Once the order has been matched with the PickingBox or the PickTrolley, an order overview is displayed and the pick-to-light indicators light up. Confirming the removal (via button, scanner or sensor) of all components completes and closes the order. This means that the correct picking of components can also be displayed in a chain process.

RFID

The use of RFID enables contactless data storage and retrieval:

  • Linking order data with RFID, i.e. linking an order with a component or assembly

  • Automatic order recognition, with RFID acting as a trigger for automatic order transfer and recognition to systems and machines (e.g. PLC systems)

  • Production status is visible via the component

  • Automatic linking of, for example, a picking tray

  • Validation of a customer tag (e.g. AUDI)

  • ‘Kill-TAG’ – deletes the internal tag after EOL / FI
